Geschichte des Alfa Romeo Duetto

"Der Schönste unter der Sonne" (Zitat der Alfa Romeo Werbung in Deutschland). Dieser Meinung schließen wir uns voller Überzeugung an. 1966 feierte dieser von Pininfarina gebaute Spider seine Premiere und wurde sofort ein Verkaufsschlager. Viele liebevolle Spitznamen wurden dieser Ikone gegeben z.B. "Osso di Seppia" in Deutsch: Tintenfischknochen, „boat tail“ oder „Duetto“.
Dieser leichte Spider verfügt über den klassischen Doppelnockenwellen-Vierzylinder vollständig aus Aluminium gefertigt, über ein sportlich abgestuftes 5-Gang Getriebe, sowie über Scheibenbremsen vorne und hinten und war somit seiner Zeit weit voraus. Im Interieur fallen die zwei in einer gemeinsamen Hutze untergebrachten wunderschönen Jaeger Hauptinstrumente hinter dem Dreispeichen-Lenkrad und die drei Zusatzinstrumente in der Mitte des Cockpits wohlwollend ins Auge.

Vita des hier angebotenen Alfa Romeo Duetto 1600 – SSC600

Am 03.11.1967 wurde dieser Alfa in Nizza Frankreich erstausgeliefert und wurde von dem letzten Besitzer (einen Sammler für bedeutende Alfa Romeos) vor über 20 Jahren in Nizza entdeckt.
Was dann folgte war eine Concours Restauration und eine technische Verbesserung der Extraklasse. Das legendäre Alfa Classic Center (ACC) in Dortmund führte diese Arbeiten in Etappen mit Fertigstellung im Jahre 2020 durch. Dieses Fahrzeug wurde dabei ohne Kompromisse komplett neuaufgebaut. Neben den einzigartigen und fantastischen Karosseriearbeiten mit perfekten Spaltmaßen und Linienführung wurden folgende technische Verbesserungen vorgenommen:
Motor: Einbau eines neu aufgebauten 1750 ccm Motor (Veloce) 1Serie, Leistungsverbessert auf 130 PS, passend hierfür Getriebeneuaufbau mit geänderter Übersetzung
Fahrwerk: Vorderachsumbau auf 2,0L 105er Serie, Bremsen Umbau vorne auf innenbelüftete Scheiben mit 4-Kolben ATE Bremszangen, Stoßdämpfer (Bilstein) und Federn (Eibach) in ACC Abstimmung, Querlenker oben einstellbar (GTA), verstärkte Hinterachsführung in Aufhängung und Längslenkern, Hinterachsübersetzung 9/41 mit Sperre. Lenkungsneuaufbau mit CNC gefrästen Aluminiumgehäuse.
Interieur: Entdröhnung und Dämmung der kompletten Karosserie, Sitze in Echtleder, Kardantunnel in Leder, Teppichanfertigung in Schlingenware und mit Leder eingefasst, Teppichanfertigung für den Kofferraum in gleicher Bauweise, Anfertigung Rückraum in Leder. Anfertigung Persenning in Leder. Überholung aller Instrumente und Anpassung Tachoantrieb.
Exterieur: Verchromte Tiefbettstahlfelgen Sonderanfertigung
Am 14.09.2020 wurde dieser Duetto jetzt Veloce 1750 Spider am Wohnsitz des letzten Besitzers an der Cote d'Azur wieder zugelassen. Der Gesamtzustand dieses formidablen Spiders entspricht in jedem Aspekt Concours Niveau. Die Gesamtinvestitionen belaufen sich auf über € 250.000 (!!). Es handelt sich hierbei mit Sicherheit um den besten Duetto weltweit, halt der „Schönste unter der Sonne“
Der Alfa ist ein Purist, spritzig, kompromisslos, mit einer sagenhaften Performance, der Motor ist hörbar, der Sound betörend, im offenen Zustand ist er zugig und windig und jenseits der 120 KM muss selbst Adriano Celentano sich richtig Mühe geben um gegen Fahrt und Windgeräusche stimmlich anzukommen. Optisch, gerade in dieser Farbkombination „celeste/nero“ bleibt der Duetto heute noch ein galanter Verführer. Es drehen sich auch heute noch die wirklichen Ladies nach ihm um. Ein italienischer Herzensbrecher der feinen Art.

Dieser Duetto verkörpert nicht nur die typische Italienische „Dolce-Vita“, sondern vor allem handelt es sich um ein formschönes, zeitloses Cabriolet mit einer unglaublichen und kaum vergleichbaren Performance. Kurz gesagt, eine hinreißende Design-Ikone mit modifizierter Technik, eine wirkliche Wölfin im Schafspelz. History of the Alfa Romeo Duetto

'The most beautiful under the sun' (quote from the Alfa Romeo advert in Germany). We wholeheartedly agree with this opinion. This Pininfarina-built spider celebrated its premiere in 1966 and immediately became a bestseller. Many affectionate nicknames were given to this icon, e.g. 'Osso di Seppia', 'boat tail' or 'Duetto'.
This lightweight spider had the classic twin-camshaft four-cylinder engine made entirely from aluminium, a sporty five-speed gearbox and disc brakes at the front and rear, making it way ahead of its time. In the interior, the two beautiful Jaeger main instruments behind the three-spoke steering wheel and the three additional instruments in the centre of the cockpit catch the eye.

This Alfa was first delivered in Nice, France, on 3 November 1967 and was discovered by the last owner (a collector of important Alfa Romeos) in Nice over 20 years ago.
What followed was a concours restoration and a technical improvement in a class of its own. The legendary Alfa Classic Centre (ACC) in Dortmund carried out this work in stages with completion in 2020. This vehicle was completely rebuilt without compromise. In addition to the unique and fantastic bodywork with perfect gaps and lines, the following technical improvements were made:
Engine: Installation of a rebuilt 1750 cc engine (Veloce) 1-series, performance improved to 130 hp, matching gearbox rebuild with modified transmission ratio
Chassis: Front axle conversion to 2.0L 105 series, front brakes converted to internally ventilated discs with 4-piston ATE brake callipers, shock absorbers (Bilstein) and springs (Eibach) in ACC setup, wishbones adjustable at the top (GTA), reinforced rear axle guide in suspension and trailing arms, rear axle ratio 9/41 with lock. New steering system with CNC-milled aluminium housing.
Interior: soundproofing and insulation of the entire body, seats in genuine leather, cardan tunnel in leather, carpet made of looped fabric and edged with leather, carpet made for the boot in the same design, rear compartment made of leather. Tarpaulin made in leather. Overhaul of all instruments and adjustment of speedometer drive.
Exterior: Chrome-plated drop centre steel rims custom-made
On 14 September 2020, this Duetto now Veloce 1750 Spider was re-registered at the last owner's residence on the Cote d'Azur. The overall condition of this formidable Spider corresponds to Concours level in every aspect. The total investment amounts to over € 250,000 (!!). This is certainly the best Duetto in the world, simply the 'most beautiful under the sun'
The Alfa is a purist, lively, uncompromising, with a fabulous performance, the engine is audible, the sound is beguiling, when open it is draughty and windy and beyond the 80 miles/h even Adriano Celentano has to make a real effort to get his voice heard against the driving and wind noise. Visually, especially in this colour combination 'celeste/nero', the Duetto is still a gallant seducer today. Even today, the real ladies still turn their heads to it. An Italian heartbreaker of the finest kind.

This Duetto not only embodies the typical Italian 'Dolce-Vita', but above all it is a beautifully shaped, timeless convertible with an incredible and hardly comparable performance. Histoire de l'Alfa Romeo Duetto

« La plus belle sous le soleil » (citation de la publicité Alfa Romeo en Allemagne). Nous nous rallions à cette opinion avec conviction. En 1966, ce spider construit par Pininfarina fêta sa première et devint immédiatement un succès commercial. De nombreux surnoms affectueux ont été donnés à cette icône, comme par exemple « Osso di Seppia » en français : os de seiche, « boat tail » ou « Duetto ».
Ce spider léger dispose du classique quatre cylindres à double arbre à cames entièrement fabriqué en aluminium, d'une boîte de vitesses sportive à cinq rapports ainsi que de freins à disques à l'avant et à l'arrière et était donc très en avance sur son temps. À l'intérieur, les deux magnifiques instruments principaux Jaeger logés dans un chapeau commun derrière le volant à trois branches et les trois instruments supplémentaires au centre du cockpit attirent l'attention avec bienveillance.

Cette Alfa a été livrée pour la première fois le 03.11.1967 à Nice France et a été découverte par son dernier propriétaire (un collectionneur d'Alfa Romeo importantes) il y a plus de 20 ans à Nice.
Ce qui a suivi a été une restauration de concours et une amélioration technique de première classe. Le légendaire Alfa Classic Center (ACC) de Dortmund a effectué ces travaux par étapes, qui seront achevés en 2020. Ce véhicule a été entièrement reconstruit sans aucun compromis. Outre les travaux de carrosserie uniques et fantastiques avec des jeux et des lignes parfaits, les améliorations techniques suivantes ont été apportées :
Moteur : installation d'un nouveau moteur de 1750 cm3 (Veloce) 1Serie, puissance améliorée à 130 CV, adapté à la nouvelle construction de la boîte de vitesses avec rapports modifiés.
Châssis : transformation de l'essieu avant en 2,0L 105 série, freins avant à disques ventilés avec étriers de frein ATE à 4 pistons, amortisseurs (Bilstein) et ressorts (Eibach) en réglage ACC, bras de suspension supérieurs réglables (GTA), guidage renforcé de l'essieu arrière au niveau de la suspension et des bras longitudinaux, rapport de pont arrière 9/41 avec blocage. Nouvelle structure de la direction avec boîtier en aluminium fraisé CNC.
Intérieur : désencombrement et isolation de toute la carrosserie, sièges en cuir , tunnel de cardan en cuir, fabrication de tapis en tissu bouclé et bordé de cuir, fabrication de tapis pour le coffre de même type, fabrication de l'espace arrière en cuir. Fabrication d'une bâche en cuir. Révision de tous les instruments et adaptation de l'entraînement du tachymètre.
Extérieur : jantes en acier chromées à fond profond, fabrication spéciale.
Le 14.09.2020, ce Duetto maintenant Veloce 1750 Spider a été réimmatriculé au domicile du dernier propriétaire sur la Côte d'Azur. L'état général de ce formidable spider correspond en tous points au niveau du concours. L'investissement total s'élève à plus de 250.000 € ( !!). Il s'agit certainement du meilleur Duetto au monde, le « plus beau sous le soleil ».
L'Alfa est une puriste, pétillante, sans compromis, avec une performance fabuleuse, le moteur est audible, le son est envoûtant, à ciel ouvert, elle est pleine de courants d'air et de vent et au-delà de 120 KM, même Adriano Celentano doit faire de gros efforts pour résister vocalement à la conduite et au bruit du vent. Visuellement, le Duetto reste aujourd'hui encore un séducteur galant, surtout dans cette combinaison de couleurs « celeste/nero ». Aujourd'hui encore, les vraies dames se tournent vers lui. Un bourreau des cœurs italien de grande classe.

Résumé

Cette Duetto n'incarne pas seulement la « dolce vita » italienne typique, mais c'est surtout un cabriolet esthétique et intemporel aux performances incroyables et difficilement comparables. En bref, une icône de design ravissante avec une technique modifiée, une véritable louve déguisée en mouton. La voiture parfaite pour les alfistes qui apprécient un superbe cabriolet sportif de première série. Les pièces de rechange sont encore disponibles à des prix abordables.
